Rev. Dr. Stephanie May

In our personal and shared histories, we have stories and experiences that we may wish we could forget. How do we relate to places of tenderness or even trauma in our histories? For example, as we approach the 400th anniversary of the “First Thanksgiving” in Plymouth, how might we hold this history with awareness for the impact European settlement had upon the Wampanoag and other Indigenous peoples?
