Here’s some information to make your Sunday visit easy.
Where to park: Spaces are beside and behind the church and across the street at the Wayland Town Building lot or on nearby side streets. See the map detail.
Where to enter the church: There are three entrances to the church – front, side and rear.
Accessibility: First Parish is committed to being fully welcoming and accessible:
Side entrance: Ramp access, with the elevator to the Sanctuary located nearby.
Rear entrance: One step up from flat walkway leads to the “Commons” that connects the rest of the building.
Front entrance: Three steps leads into the Narthex (entryway of the church) and community room, with stairs up to the Sanctuary.
Inside the Sanctuary: We offer improved hearing devices, large print orders of service and large print hymnals available from ushers, as well as special pews in the front and rear to accommodate wheelchairs.
Coffee/tea time after the service: After the service, we’d love for you to join us downstairs (just below the Sanctuary) for coffee, tea and friendly conversation. You’ll find information about the church at the welcome table, and our community is always glad to answer questions or simply get to know you.
Stay Connected: Sign up for our weekly E-Blast and monthly newsletter The Unitarian online or by filling out a Connection Card in the pews or a the welcome table and leave it in the basket on the welcome table.
