Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day for communities to remember and honor the transgender and gender-variant lives that have been lost each year due to anti-transgender violence. To honor the transgender lives that have been lost, we’ll post transgender flags on the front lawn, one for each life lost. We’ll also host a spiral labyrinth on the green of paper lanterns with candles, decorated by our SEEK class. Come, join us to raise awareness of anti-transgender violence in our communities and to hold a sacred space to mourn and celebrate the lives that were lost. Families are encouraged to attend this event. Please join us for a candlelight vigil at 7 pm on Wednesday, November 20th.
