This Sunday, Oct 29, 10:00 a.m., “Day of Remembrance”
Rev. Deborah Bennett

There is a traditional Buddhist story about a woman in grief with the true heartfelt desire to bring her loved one back from the dead. I am sure it is a story we can all relate to. We have all loved, and sadly have all lost. During the Mexican holiday, Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) and the pagan ritual of Samhain, it is said that the veil between the world of the living and dead is thinnest. Today, we will honor those who have gone before us and explore the thin veil and our never ending connection to those we love.
