First Parish Choir & Guest Musicians; Homily by Rev. Lisa Perry-Wood
It was Winter, 2020, and the choir was preparing Mozart’s Coronation Mass for Spring Music Sunday; scores had been delivered to choir members, soloists and musicians, and practice had begun. Suddenly, we heard the news that, due to the pandemic, our church was going into lockdown. What a time that was, and of course, there was no Coronation Mass that year!
Now, having retrieved and reordered the scores, our very talented choir, soloists and guest musicians, under the direction of Music Director Polly Oliver, will offer us this beautiful and historic work. Rev. Lisa will preach.
