Rev. John O’Connor
We come together in worship because we need one another. As we navigate the first month of the new administration we find ourselves in a sea of chaos. Many are deeply concerned for the welfare of the nation, and are especially worried about the more vulnerable members of our marginalized communities. Come and explore lessons from our past experiences. Share the wisdom of luminaries, past and present, who offer us a way forward. And being ever mindful that laughter is a balm for the soul, there will be a fun bit with puppets during the Time for All Ages. Come, Come, Whoever You Are!
Rev. John O’Connor has been an active member of Arlington Street Church since 1990 and graduated from Harvard Divinity School in 2022. John then served as the Intern Minister at First Church in Belmont in the 2022 – 23 church year. John was ordained at Arlington Street Church on April 7, 2024 and currently serves there as the Community Minister for Good Works. Recently, John served as the guest preacher at the UU Meeting House of Provincetown while Rev. Kate Wilkinson was on sabbatical. Outside of church, John is an avid reader, and when time permits, he noodles around a bit on the piano. For the past 30 years, John has also owned and managed a residential real estate team in the greater Boston area.
