The Road Map to Carbon Neutral for Massachusetts
A Webinar Sponsored by MetroWest Climate Solutions and Mass Audubon
June 4, 7 p.m.

Legislation currently in the Massachusetts House of Representatives lays out a road map for Massachusetts to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The bill, H3983, calls for interim carbon reductions of 50 percent by 2030 and 75 percent by 2040, with protections for environmental justice communities.

Representative Joan Meschino, the lead sponsor of this bill, will discuss the legislation and answer questions. Meschino is the State Representative for the 3rd Plymouth District (Cohasset, Hingham, Hull, and North Scituate). Alexandra Vecchio, Climate Change Program Director for Mass Audubon, will moderate the webcast.   You will learn what you can do to help pass this critical legislation.
