Exploring life’s meaning and our place in the world is a life-long practice. At First Parish, we engage in a rich variety of programs to explore questions about how to live out our values in our daily lives.
Examples of adult programs we offer or have offered include mindfulness classes and groups; a women’s drumming circle; a workshop on becoming a woman of wisdom; a symposium on death and dying; a panel discussion on mass incarceration.
In our Theology on Tap gatherings at a local restaurant, our minister leads conversations about how spirituality intersects with our daily lives. Through small group ministry, people come together once a month to discuss a theme such as “Courage” or “Making a Difference” or “Friendship.”
Book discussions, movie nights, pot luck dinners…..there are many ways for adults and families to come together at First Parish to build stronger connections with one another and to explore life’s questions together.
