Between 3 million and 4 million adult women in the United States are abused yearly by an intimate partner. About one in four women is likely to be abused by a partner in her lifetime. (Journal of the American Medical Association, 267:3184-3189, 1992).

On Thursday, October 24, please join us as we gather to shine a light on the issue of Domestic Violence in our community. We will be joined by civic and religious community leaders. The March will leave from First Parish in Wayland Lawn at 6:30pm. We will march to Temple Shir Tikva where the vigil will take place at 7:00pm.

This event is cosponsored by the Wayland Interfaith Leaders Association, the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Voilence Roundtable, and the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund.
