Sharing Our Offering: MetroWest Climate Solutions and World Central Kitchen.
First Parish is sharing its plate with one organization twice each month, or two social justice organizations once each. This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to generously support these vital community organizations and causes.
On April 6, half the Sunday offering will be donated to MetroWest Climate Solutions. The all-volunteer organization’s mission is to inspire healthy, sustainable communities by hosting programs that provide us with the knowledge and tools for bringing about solutions to the climate crisis. First Parish is a founding member.
On April 27, half the Sunday offering will be donated to World Central Kitchen, which is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. Founders Chef José Andrés and his wife Patricia believe that food has the power to be the nourishment and hope we need to pick ourselves back up in the darkest times.
