On Jan. 4, half the Sunday offering will be donated to World Central Kitchen. Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a nonprofit organization that is first to the frontlines providing fresh meals in response to crises. WCK has served more than 500 million nourishing meals around the world. It has earned the top rating (4 stars) from Charity Navigator, which provides data-driven ratings on the financial health, accountability, and transparency of nonprofits.
First Parish shares its offering with one organization twice each month, or two social justice organizations once each. This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to generously support these vital community organizations and causes.
