On April 5, half the Sunday offering will be donated to the Wayland Community Fund. The fund provides temporary assistance to Wayland residents in need of help with utilities, rent, medical expenses, food, and other essential needs. In the first 18 years of operation, the organization has provided more than $500,000 in assistance to Wayland residents.
First Parish shares its offering with one organization twice each month, or two social justice organizations once each. This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to generously support these vital community organizations and causes.
