On March 15, half the Sunday offering will be donated to the UU Urban Ministry. The UUUM is a non-sectarian, nonprofit social justice organization that works across race and place to dismantle racism and white supremacy culture and to advance racial, social, and economic justice. The Rev. Mary Margaret Earl, Executive Director and Senior Minister of the UUUM, will lead the service on that date.
First Parish shares its offering with one organization twice each month, or two social justice organizations once each. This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to generously support these vital community organizations and causes.
