On March 29, half the Sunday offering will be donated to Gratis Healthcare. The nonprofit provides free medical and mental health services to those in need. By using volunteer clinicians in multiple specialties, including our own David Bechtel, Gratis aims to remove barriers to basic healthcare and strives to connect patients to the Massachusetts healthcare system and community resources.
First Parish shares its offering with one organization twice each month, or two social justice organizations once each. This ensures that everyone has the opportunity to generously support these vital community organizations and causes.
