At both Christmas Eve services, the full offering will be donated to Family Promise MetroWest, a nonprofit providing shelter, education, and comprehensive support to families who are homeless.
First Parish has had an ongoing relationship with Family Promise for many years. Prior to the Covid pandemic we hosted up to four families in our Parish House for a total of three to four weeks each year. Post-Covid, the Family Promise model of support has changed, and we now provide volunteer support, including meals, to their new housing facility in a neighboring town.
