First Parish Church in Weston will host a summer movie nights on Aug. 20, both at 7 p.m. Bring your own blanket, lawn chair, sleeping bag, or other lounging gear; the movie will be started as soon as it’s dark, but folks are invited to gather starting at 7:00 p.m. to get settled.
You are welcome to BYOD — Bring Your Own Dinner — whether from home or a Door Dash delivery! Sometimes folks order pizza or other food to be delivered. Come to church a little early (with cash or Venmo) if you’d like to join a group order.
The event will be held regardless of weather. If it’s nice, it will be outdoors on the playground. If there is rain, it will be indoors in the Parish Hall. If there is a heat advisory, it will be held in the air-conditioned Chapel. If held indoors, the movie is at 7:15 p.m.
