Sunday Nursery Care Provider
Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, warm individual that is comfortable playing and caring for babies and toddlers
The position is part-time, hourly (2 hours per week, on Sunday mornings. 40 weeks from September to mid-June; some additional hours available to be used for special church events).
Candidates must be 18 or older, able to lift 30 lbs, and have experience working with babies and toddlers.
Competitive wage of $25.00/hr
Duties:
- Tidy the classroom before and after your time with the kids.
- Engage and supervise children in their play and activities while they are in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child’s needs while they will be in the nursery
Qualifications:
- Prefer knowledge of Unitarian Universalism
- An enthusiastic and socially outgoing personality
- Experience working with young children.
- Ability to move around the building and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- CORI check will be required before beginning employment.
