The renowned Boston area music ensemble Musicians of the Old Post Road make their annual stop at First Parish in Wayland for their special themed concert, A HIVE OF CREATIVITY.
Their First Parish concert imagines the buzzing, convivial atmosphere of Sara Levy’s Berlin Salon gatherings in our acoustically excellent 1815 Meetinghouse. Levy’s invitation-only events were the talk of Berlin at the end of the 18th century, attracting famous musicians of the day. Featured are works by Levy’s own teacher W.F. Bach, C.P.E. Bach and others, as well as engaging readings penned by Enlightenment thinkers.
Tickets area available directly from Musicians of the Old Post Road website. Tickets are $55, Seniors $50, 35 and under $35. Kids 17 and under are free accompanied by an adult. First Parish is located at 225 Boston Post Road in Wayland.
