Community Conversations – Connecting Across Generations
Thursday, March 19, 6-8 p.m. via Zoom
This conversation will focus on the power of intergenerational connection. By highlighting mentorship, oral history, and shared learning, the dialogue bridges elders’ lived experience with younger voices shaping Roxbury’s future.
Seeing Me in the World
Friday, March 20, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the UUUM
The New England Liberal Religious Educators Association Chapter will host an information session exploring “Seeing Me in the World,” a youth-led, adult-supported program. The program invites UU youth into history, identity, and justice through walking tours, dialogue, and reflection. The program is ideal for youth in grades 8–12 and is often used as part of Coming-of-Age trips, congregational Boston pilgrimages, or youth justice initiatives. The Immigrant Experience
Sunday, March 22, 4-5:30 p.m.
The UUUM invites you to a service of words and music featuring a cantata by John Kramer, performed by a combined choir from several UU congregations, along with additional musical selections. The program lifts up stories of migration, welcome, and belonging, drawing on texts from our founding history while centering present-day experiences. This event is a benefit for the Refugee and Immigration Assistance Center (RIAC) and the Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network (BIJAN). It will include performances by young people from Sociedad Latina. Tickets may be purchased here.
