First Parish’s Green Sanctuary Committee urges members to join them, and other folks from TransitionWayland, the PTO Green Team, and Wayland Dems, on Saturday, April 15 (raindate: April 22) to pick up litter anywhere you like in Wayland and deliver your filled bags (black for trash, clear for recycling) to one of two “stations” in town—the Town Building and Cochituate Field. The bags will be donated by the DPW and made available at both stations. If you like, you may take these directly to the Transfer Station w/out need for a sticker or the orange Pay-As-You-Throw bags. Large items, too, can be brought directly to the Transfer Station, or call a Green Sanctuary member for pickup. Let’s clean up!
