Join us as the Zahili Zamora Quartet unveils selections from their upcoming Afro-Cuban Jazz album. These innovative pieces by Cuban pianist, composer, and bandleader, Zahili Zamora, delve into the complexities of socio-cultural and psychological challenges through her unique lens. Zahili will also present beloved standards, each infused with her signature Afro Cuban twist, ensuring a captivating and dynamic experience for all. Zahili will be accompanied by Panamanian saxophonist Samuel Batista, Dominican percussionist Francis P, and Dominican bassist Abner Cabrera
This concert is a continuation of the Arts Wayland Berklee Faculty Jazz Series under the Direction of First Parish’s Neil Olmstead, Berklee College Professor and First Parish member.
