Welcome to a new year of multi-platform (Hybrid) services!

We will begin to welcome people into the Sanctuary for Sunday Services beginning Sunday, September 19. Some basic protocols for in-person attendance are:

  • Masks required for everyone. Fully vaccinated speakers and soloists may unmask only when at a distanced microphone.
  • Please follow practices of social distancing when seated as well as when entering and exiting the building.
  • While we cannot safely sing as a congregation, humming welcome!
  • REGISTRATION required.
  • Following the service, we will have an outdoor Community Time. Please do not linger in the sanctuary beyond the postlude.

To register for in-person attendance, we will be using SignUp.com to reserve a pew. Links to the Sign-Up will be in the weekly e-blast on Thursdays and on the website.

Each Sunday a certain numbers of pews will be available for sign-up. You will sign-up by PEW not by person. Please pay close attention to the capacity limit of each pew, which ranges from 1 person to 5 people. The pew cushions are pre-arranged to enable 6′ distancing from others. (See above photo) Please sit only on the pew cushion designated for you by the ushers.

If you have children that will be participating in the SEEK program, please enter their names and grades in your registration. If you are a participant in the service (eg Lay Minister, staff, chalice lighter), a pew will be pre-reserved for you and you do not need to register.

Given the limited capacity, we expect that not everyone who wishes to will be able to attend in-person each week. After attending on a Sunday, please do not sign-up for the following Sunday until after 6pm on the Saturday evening prior.

As with many of the protocols and processes we are experimenting with this year, we imagine that this will be an iterative process as we learn more from experience.  Thanks for your patience and your feedback as we learn and adapt!
