In these challenging times, with an uncertain future ahead, we may need to make difficult choices about our interactions and actions. Writer Brene Brown has taught many of us what it means to be truly courageous in the face of adversity. “True courage,” she says, “takes vulnerability”: remembering our most dearly held values, being honest and open in our interactions, and taking risks to stay connected. These choices will not be comfortable, but they may help us make a difference in the world.
