First Parish is participating in the Celebrate Wayland Festival on Saturday, October 4, with a table on the festival grounds and a troupe in the community parade. The Festival and parade are part of Wayland’s year-long celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

The Festival will feature a multicultural pavillion with artists’ marketplace, an expanded Touch-a-Truck with different kinds of vehicles, a variety of food, beverage and ice cream trucks, and live music. There will be dozens of vendors and organizations at tables, including First Parish.

The parade assembles at 10:15 a.m. on Elissa Avenue, and kicks off at 10:45. All are welcome to join the First Parish marchers. The parade route is 4/10 of a mile, and ends on the town green.
