In late August, Molly Faulkner represented the First Parish Pantry Gardeners, selling garlic and colorful zinnias at Russell’s Garden Center’s Farmers’ Market. Molly sold more than 100 bulbs of garlic and 30 jars of flowers, netting more than $400.
These funds, along with more than $1000 in proceeds from Stop & Shop’s Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, will buy three CSA shares of produce from Stearns Farm in Framingham next year. First Parish will donate these shares to The Family Shelters (Framingham), My Brother’s Table (Wayland), and Open Table (Maynard).
