Our Community: Celebrating and Serving
To Celebrate Life
We regularly gather for fun, for food, for festive times.
It might be Friday night spaghetti and a family movie, our monthly soup and salad lunch, or a pot luck picnic after a Sunday service.
We host community-wide events such as jazz concerts with the Berklee School of Music faculty and Arts Wayland, classical concerts with Musicians of the Old Post Road, and other cultural and educational events.
And our ongoing groups are always happy to welcome new folks. We have two book groups, a meditation group, a knitting group, vocal and bell choirs, and small groups that meet periodically for facilitated conversations on topics such as friendship, aging, gratitude, or grief.
To Make a Better World
We work together as a community for positive change in our world.
We devote time and energy to a range of social and environmental action projects, through which we:
- Support families experiencing homelessness or food insecurity
- Fight climate change
- Support immigrants
- Welcome all LGBTQIA+ people
Friendships bloom and grow as we work, play, and worship together.
