In acknowledgement of Black History Month, images from the Equal Justice Initiative’s annual calendar, A History of Racial Injustice, are on view in the Narthex. The Equal Justice Initiative was formed by Bryan Stevenson, bestselling author of Just Mercy, and is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.
