Following the Community Conversation on Race last June, our minister, the Rev. Dr. Stephanie May, has been talking with the Rev. Ted Crass of the Community United Methodist Church, Wayland, about continuing these discussions about race. In the coming months, Stephanie and Ted would like to create opportunities for members of both congregations to come together to learn more about how racial formation and identity affects each of us and our world. The first event will be on Tuesday, November 24, 7 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church. We will begin by watching a short film then split into smaller discussion groups.
