Arts Wayland Jazz Series: Marchese/Pejrolo, Sept. 29, 3 p.m.
The esteemed Arts Wayland Berklee Faculty Jazz Series continues this fall, under the direction of Neil Olmstead, Berklee College Professor. Stefano Marchese and Andrea Pejrolo will perform at First Parish in Wayland on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m.
Marchese and Pejrolo are accomplished Italian musicians who have brought the Italian culture, Italian pop, and the musicality of the Italian language to Boston. They have both collaborated with great artists, including Bobby McFerrin, Luis Enrique, Mogol, and Carmen Consoli, and have performed nationally and internationally.
Marchese, jazz singer and winner of numerous international awards, and Pejrolo, jazz composer/arranger, producer, and double bass player, are both professors at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Tickets ($20) are available at Arts Wayland. Online ticket sales will end at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the concert.
