3/24 Music Sunday!

Sunday, March 24th- 10:00AM is Music Sunday – This spring’s traditional Music Sunday offering is the haunting and beautiful Requiem by Gabriel Faure. This work for orchestra, organ, soprano (our own Amy Meneely) and baritone (our favorite John Whittlesey) soloists, and mixed choir was composed by Faure in the late 1800s. Faure said this “gentle” work “is dominated from beginning to end by a very human feeling of faith in eternal rest.” It is a gorgeous composition.
