The work inside the Parish House has started. We need some help for less than an hour next Tuesday evening, June 18, at 7:30 to move the furniture out of the Stokey Library, and to relocate the shelves and contents of the religious education supply closet on the second floor. If we could get about 6 people with good backs together, that would be just great. If you can help out, please let one of us know — and thank you! What a great opportunity to join in summer worship services with fellow First Parishioners, and also to experience these summer services in new surroundings, from Temple Or Atid to the Islamic Center to UU churches in nearby towns. Services will be held each Sunday from June 16 through August 11, with regular Sunday services...read more

The Flower communion service was originally created in 1923 by Unitarian minister Norbert Capek, who founded the Unitarian Church in Czechoslovakia. The service was later brought to the United States by his wife, Maya. The tradition is for each person to...read more
Our Interim Minister, John Nichols, submitted the following report to the congregation for the 2012-2013 First Parish Annual Report, which was distributed at the Annual Meeting.
